Buildings

FOR PROJECTS 1 AND 2, we used Union Station, the transportation hub that includes a train station, and the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Located in Washington, DC, both buildings are architecturally significant and serve many thousands of people. While the Basilica is smaller than Union Station, the public areas that most people utilize are comparable (around 110,000 sq.ft. ± 20%).

FOR PROJECT 3,  we used three projects located in Southern California, two sacred and one secular. They are the Christ Cathedral (Catholic faith) in Garden Grove, the Eastside Christian Church (Evangelical faith) in Anaheim, and the Orange County Museum of Art in Costa Mesa.
